Welcome to Oculus
Sell Wi-Fi from your MikroTik hotspot — packages, vouchers, a branded login page and payments to your own account.
Oculus turns a MikroTik hotspot into a paid Wi-Fi service. You decide what to sell — an hour, a day pass, a weekly bundle — and your customers buy it on their phones, or with a voucher from your front desk. The money goes straight into your own Paystack, Flutterwave or Stripe account.
You don't run a server. Your router connects out to Oculus, so it doesn't need a public IP address, and it works on fibre, LTE and Starlink alike.
How it fits together
- Your router keeps doing what it does: hand out addresses and show a login page. Oculus adds one script to it.
- Oculus checks every login, applies the speed and data limits of what the customer bought, and ends sessions when time or data runs out.
- Your login page is hosted by Oculus at your own address, so you can change it at any time without touching the router.
- Payments go through your gateway account. Oculus never holds your money.
Where to start
- Getting started — the checklist from sign-up to your first paying customer.
- Connecting a router — what you need on the router, and the one script that connects it.
- Packages and Vouchers — what you sell.
- Taking payments — connect your gateway so customers can pay on their phones.
Stuck? Troubleshooting covers the problems operators run into most.
Supported routers
Any MikroTik router running RouterOS 7.10 or later — logins travel over TLS (RadSec), which needs RouterOS 7. Upgrading is free, under System → Packages. Routers can also use optional real-time management.
